From major advertising campaigns to smash hit singers, makeup artist Cathy Savage is blazing a beauty trail with over 20 years of experience.  Her revered celebrity roster includes A-listers such as Ed Sheeran, Jess Glynne, Russell Crowe, Lionel Ritchie, Paloma Faith, Tina Arena and Marion Cotillard.

Born and bred in Sydney, Australia, the highly sought-after makeup artist grew up with her sights on a career as a Fashion Designer. After graduating in Fashion Design at East Sydney Technical College, Cathy travelled overseas to London and discovered her great passion for the art of makeup which has continued ever since.

​

Cathy landed her first job assisting makeup artist legends such as Val Garland, Charlotte Tilbury and Sharon Dowsett, honing her prodigious skills at fashion shows for design heavyweights such as Alexander McQueen and Vivienne Westwood across Paris, Milan and London.

​

Since returning home to Sydney, Cathy has cemented a career for herself in the world of TV and has held the role of Makeup and Hair Supervisor, working across a number of talent shows such as “Australian Idol”, “X Factor”, “The Voice” and “So You Think You Can Dance”.

​

Editorially, Cathy has contributed to high-end magazines such as Numero, Vogue, I-D and Italian Rolling Stone, and has also appeared in front of camera on “10 years Younger In 10 days” as a makeup expert. 

​

Cathy lives in Sydney with her film director husband and two children.
